As part of the #nscm (North Side Coffee Mornings) delegation, I joined the Google Wave Sydney Usergroup meeting on Wednesday night, 3 March. What do I think about Google Wave? A couple of things: Really cool technology – kinda like Notes, Sharepoint, Exchange, Skype, Huddle, Project Server, OneNote all mushed together, presented in a browser [...]

I managed to catch up with Oliver Palmer, Tigerspike and Anina Net, 360Fashion on the Community Cam at Mobile Monday this month. Oliver delivered a presentation on the Tigerspike Whitepaper on the Apple iPad. Anina spoke about Mobile Magazines, a new technology set to revolutionise connections to media.

Another great, and immensely valuable (to Channel42’s business at least) morning, albeit a touch on the “intimate” side this morning.   Despite the low numbers, we still managed to have a new attendee, @JustinKing.   Welcome Justin   Technorati Tags: Coffee Cam,Coffee Mornings,North West Coffee Morning,NWCM

There is always someone interesting to meet, something to learn, and more importantly, value to add. On the down side, getting to [...]

Or Canteen, Bistro, Coffee-shop, Corner Kitchen….
As a manager of technologists you get pretty used to your team (and yourself) working out of the office. Home, the beach, client sites, and interstate/overseas trips are all work du jour for today’s Information worker. But any professional worth their salt understands the importance of being in the office [...]
